The Net Price Calculator (NPC) is a calculator that the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 required that schools have on
their websites by October 2011. This calculator is an attempt by the Department of Education to make the costs of higher education

the Department to show what the national averages are for living and other costs not charged by the institution.
